Season after season, Tracy Reese never disappoints and her Fall 2012 collection was no different. With femininity and sophistication in mind, Reese gave us a show that left us all anticipating the fall fashion season. Unlike other shows which tend to err on the side of darker hues, Reese used vibrant colors, bold patterns and an exuberant mix of textures for her line. Her documented penchant for paying attention to detail materialized in embellishments like sequins and jewels, the perfect accent for many of the pieces. Parading down the runway were feminine frocks, tailored pants, flirty skirts, and both short and long coats. Reese’s outwear was the truly the show-stopper. She took traditional coats and made them extraordinary. The neon yellow wrap coat, the metallic trench and orange sherbet shearling coat are pieces that will energize your Fall wardrobe. What do you think of Tracy Reese’s Fall Collection?

I love to see black women in different colors. I think a lot of people think black people in general shouldn’t wear bright colors and just stick to dark ones, but that’s so boring and it looks great on us.
