Versailles ’73: An American Revolution is officially in production thanks to Deborah Riley Draper, an advertising executive. With help from her husband Michel Draper and Caralene Robinson, she is creating her first full length film.

Models Pat Cleveland, Bethann Hardison, Billie Blair, Jennifer Brice, Alva Chinn, Norma Jean Darden, Charlene Dash, Barbara Jackson, China Machado, Ramona Saunders and Amina Warsuma will be featured in the film. Also, iconic African American fashion designer Stephen Burrows will make an appearance.

The documentary will discuss race, economics, politics, obstacles, achievements, and style in order to understand black beauty and style.

Draper’s film will be completed in March. And, this is one movie you should put on your list to see.
