MAC spokesbeauty and Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj is branching out into the world of nail polish. The femcee is coming out with her own collection of nail lacquer with OPI. While on SNL, during a performance, she spit the following as an ode to her blossoming beauty empire:
“It’s Pink Friday records and OVO
Done did the pop tour, I’m the realest deal
Best legal team so the deals is ill
It’s MAC, OPI and a fragrance too…”

All the polishes retail for $8.50 and launch in January 2012. Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director had this to say: “OPI is so excited to work with Nicki in releasing these six new nail lacquers. Nicki has taken the hip hop world by storm, but her music is only part of the equation. She’s also become a fashion inspiration, noted for her daring costumes and hair color both on and off the stage.”
