Desiree Rogers left a lasting impression during her time at the White House with a fully-evolved sense of style with a refined and feminine flair. Now the CEO of Johnson Publishing Company, Rogers is featured in the new age issue of Vogue Magazine along with her 21 year-old daughter Victoria. Rogers wears Prabal Gurung while her daughter is dressed in Thakoon.
The accompanying article spotlights Ikram Goldman, a Chicago boutique owner who has long been rumored to be Michelle Obama’s unofficial stylist. Goldman also styles Rogers and says the business mogul “was a kid when I first started dressing her.”
Ms. Rogers will always be one of the best dressed women that I have ever seen. Her style is classic but she took chances and has the demeanor and is self-possessed enough to carry it off, which is the key. I hope I look as good as her when I’m in my 50s. Hell, I hope I can look that put togethr in my 40s.
