Style Checklist: What To Wear To Coachella - Coco & Creme

Trending This Week

Coachella Music Festival is kicking off in T-minus 3 days! I wasn’t able to score tickets and am so jealous if you were able to. With Cee-LoKings of LeonMiguelErykah Badu, and Kanye West among so many amazing others performing, you’ll want to make sure that you not only look your best but feel your best!

There are quite a few factors that go into looking your best in extreme heat for long hours while standing and fighting off drunk guys. Before you zip up that bulging suitcase, make sure you have checked off each of these items.

A Straw Hat

A floppy or fedora style straw hat is a cute option to protect your scalp and your ‘do from the sun’s blazing hot rays. If you opt for the wide brimmed floppy hat, be cute and unique and tie a ribbon around the base.

Cropped Tops

You’re already doing crunches to wear crop tops anyway, right? So beat the heat and let your tummy get a little breeze by throwing on a crop top in a loose fit.

Maxidresses

This season, hemlines are dropping way down to the ground, and they definitely will be appropriate for the laid back vibe at Coachella. In a lightweight fabric, dresses or skirts will be so boho-glam. Plus, how fun will it be to dance in a maxi length dress or skirt?

Be Hands-Free

And, I don’t mean those lame Bluetooth ear pieces. I’m talking about a cute little cross body bags to stow your valuables.

Choose Lightweight Fabrics

The best way to not have obvious sweat stains ruining your outfit (ew!) is to wear patterns in lightweight fabrics.

Avoid Shoe-icide

Just wear flats! No, seriously, you will be standing all day. Wear flats.

Stand Out In The Crowd

Go bright! I’m sure you have picked up a little something bright that you have been itching to wear and now is the perfect time to break it out.

Here are a few options off the checklist for you last-minute shoppers:
