For their annual Fashion Against AIDS collection, H&M tapped some of today’s top celebrities to front the ad campaign. Keri Hilson, Akon, Sky Ferreira, Selma Blair and Penn Badgley are among the stars who lent their support to the brand.
The unisex collection features an array of casual, Spring-ready pieces including printed hoodies, graphic tees, metallic shorts, zippered vests and bright full jumpsuits. It will launch in H&M’s Divided department and online April 26th. 25% of sales will be donated to the charity Designers Against AIDS (DAA) and various other international HIV/AIDS prevention projects.
Akon had this to say about the cause: “I’ve had a lot of friends who’ve been in the situation where their friends and family have been affected by HIV. As I travel the world, I see how much HIV affects people. It’s not like we have a cure for HIV, we only have prevention. Make sure you are protected so that you don’t ever have to worry about it. Ever.”
